Why S.P.O.C. removed from HOL?
Hi,
Just wondering why the S.P.O.C. game was removed from HOL MIA in the last year? Was it considered to be shareware? Not a proper game? Listed as commercial on the following website: http://obligement.online.fr/articles...jeuxamigas.php Used to be more webpages listing it in old amiga games lists, but they have since gone. A working disk image was finally uploaded to the zone by jasonver2.0: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=20070 |

I've been removing MIA entries recently - especially ones where we had no screens, scans or little info. So, if I remember correctly it was removed for that reason.
The obligement site only lists it as commercial because the Hall of Light (one of its sources) listed it so before I removed it! However, now that we've got the ADF I'll check it out and probably add it again. |

As I'm the author of the Obligement's list...
SPOC games were added to my list simply because I was aware of the existence of this compilation. But I had few informations at the moment. After verification, this compilation is really commercial. SPOC have sold others Amiga programs like "Dr SPOC". The initial price of this SPOC compilation is 25$. All games are in Basic (which works with Amiga Basic). There is 26 programs which can be considered as "games" (games + some education softwares). And a last word : SPOC means Special Programs & Operations Company (and not "computer") (and I know, my list is not up to date with this). So, I think you can add it again to HOL :-) |

@Daff
Thanks for the info. I'm sure it was more the lack of a disk image (to make screenshots) than info. that prompted its removal from HOL. Now that someone's kindly supplied the compilation, I'm sure it will find its way back into HOL when the team gets a bit more free time. |

I still could not find this in HOL. If you need screenshots I can search for the adf of the game and take some as it should be somewhere on my computers though it has been a while. |

I don't have a list of the removed entries.
Could you upload the S.P.O.C. ADF to the Zone please? |
