Pairing music to a specific game.

Hey guys. I got my first, (and only), Amiga 500 in 1988 when I was 9 years old and have been hooked ever since. Its actually still working along with most my games too. I hooked up in WinUAE a few years ago and have been having several nostalgia-overdoses since (hehe)

Anyways, back in the day I used to have several Amiga games. Several of them broke down or was simply erased by me. So a few weeks ago I started up a disk called: "Elf & Sentinel & Computer Scrabble (19xx)(A-Ha)[cr A-Ha].adf" and realise that I recognise the music but not the game-name. So if anyone have that above mentioned disk (adf), and recognise the music in question, can he/she please name the unknown game for me? Its driving me nuts trying to figure it out

*note* The music was ripped by soem crack-team and was not "native" to the above game.

Just to add a bit more info, the crack-team that ripped the above music is(was) called "A-HA". Not sure if it helps, but they migth have copied the same intro&music to other game-compilations.

I couldn't get that image to work. The disk loaded, and stoped at a black screen with a green mouse pointer.

Any chance you could record a bit of the music and put an mp3 in The Zone?

Hm..well that would be a new area for me. I'll try my best.

Oh by the way, I dont have access to this forums "The Zone" section :P We could perhaps fix an email after I get the MP3 recorded.

Thanks. It sounds familiar, it might be Beyond the Ice Palace (music by David Whittaker) from about 1988/89. If it's NOT that, I'd love to know what it is too!

I'm not sure if it's from Beyond the Ice Palace, but it's definitely by David Whittaker. If it's not BTIP it might from Menace.

Hm...Ice Palace sounds familiar too. I'll check both Menace and ice palace and get back to you later.

By the way, the guy that made this music, did he also do the music for the game "Quadralien"? They sound very alike.

I just checked "Beyond the Ice Palace" but it wasn't it. I havent found Menace yet. However, uhm..I just had a thought bout this.

It was a very long time ago since I ran this unknown game in question...and since the above music has been ripped and used as a crack-intro at least once. (I'm guessing that crack-team didnt just break one game)..so maybe it was reused in the game I'm after but isnt actually part of that games soundtrack. As I said, it was so long ago I cant be 100% sure.
