Happy The One !

hi all!
just had to put up a thread about one of the best (me thinks ) amiga games mags : The One ...

Sadly I was very young in that time and didnt buy many issues (really way too expensive, at least then)....

So is there any web sites with scans from this great mag ?? Havent seen any sites frrom this mag, but many from the others (wich I think is strange because the magazine was really good , or is it only me that thinks this??

Thumbs up

Kriz you're darn right The One was great!!
After another magazine I used to follow returned to only covering C64 stuff I switched over to "The One" about the time they had a major relaunch with new Staff & I certainly rated it amongst the top Amiga gaming mags.
In particular when David Upchurch was editor,(you may recall a fair haired big fat guy), the One was at it's zenith.
After he left I personally thought it's standards fell pretty much they way of the Amiga's fortune's did after CBM went bust.

But none-the less, all round, a pretty good magazine.

Wow I just cleared some old stuff out and a bunch of One magazines feel into my lap,..I always thought it was the best mag. (unfortunatly my ma threw a most of them out when I was younger..(Dont speak to her much...
Im just looking through the remaining ones (rollerbabes calender)and I forgot that it was slighty bigger than a4 width (strange even for normal magazines)

Big grin Article request

I just have read the story of The One at Amiga Interactive Guide and are rather curious how the magazine was in its days. I've never read The One before because the magazine was very hard to find at the newsagents in The Netherlands.

What I do know is that a little Dutch game called Hoi got a whopping score of 90% in the magazine somewhere in 1992. - Despite okay gameplay I think this score is too exaggerated. Can someone scan this article? Thanks in advance.
