[QUOTE=Shatterhand]Well......
> There's a "pirated" It's called "hacked" > NES game called "Hyper Mortal Kombat III Turbo"... Great. I saw "Mario Fighter" - Street Fighter II clone, where you can play as Mario... but is this with sense? > The gameplay is similar to Mortal Kombat, but you have > some fighters from Street Fighter, and you can also play > as Goro. Great x2. Tell me, how many specials character have, and how this specials are performed. Of course you can even made fusion of tetris & doom... but for what reason? > I dunno if this is available as a ROMt, I've played it on > my friend's NES many years ago... And I bet when you will see this game now, you will delete/throw out it in a few seconds. Many of these hacks are... erm... "little playable". |

actually, I remember playing this game for a while with friends and having some fun.
"Street Fighter III" wasn't half bad either. I remember a "Street Fighter 4" for NES which had some IMPRESSIVE graphics for a NES game.. I really don't remember much of the game, so I can't tell you about specials or even if it had fatalities or not. One thing I remember is that some characters appeared twice in the selection screen, which was really odd. |

But these two examples aren't crossovers of two different fighting styles, but "continuation" of one from this two. > I really don't remember much of the game, And that's the main cause of you nostalgy, IMHO. > so I can't tell you about specials or even if it had > fatalities or not. Well... it's one more reason why i think that hack was senseless. If game has fatalities, then i don't imagine Ryu making this. If not, then MK "part" was truncated. And in this cause you can put to this hack almost everything, by hacking just sprites, e.g. fight of teddy bear vs battleship (you know, big war ship ), or cake vs Bill... you know who BTW: There was small game (Mortal Comquat III, or something), where you fight with two spots. Game was funny... but for few plays, and for sure not so playable. > One thing I remember is that some characters appeared > twice in the selection screen, which was really > odd But if you don't remember so much are you ABSOLUTELY sure that it was crossover? |

Spiff, check out www.gamefaqs.com
My favourite MK was Mortal Kombat II, but I am a slave to nearly all of them. |
