Question PC Task problem

Hi guys!
I run PCtask using a hardfile I made with installation of MSDOS 3.30 directly from an 720k disk, on my A1200/040!
The problem is that I would like to try to install WIN 3.11 from a CD, but with this version of DOS this seems to be impossible!
I found MSDOS 6.22 diskimages, but I can't tranfer them to real disks, they are 1.44
Does anybody know some kind of trick, to be able to read with my A1200 these images, and write the files on an empty hardfile? (kind of filesystem, or what?).
Or, if somebody has a hardfile ready with DOS 6.22, could he please upload it for me?
TIA.

Get xfs.lha from Aminet. The included file.device can mount disk images as if they were real disks. You can then use FILE0: as drive A in PC-Task. XFS can also read and write MS-DOS disks with long file names, so you can use it for data exchange with PC-Task and Windows (as a replacement for CrossDOS).

Thanks, I will try this
By the way, nice avatar picture, one of my favorites
A last thing:
Can I properly see 640x480 256 color windoze 3.11, without gfx board? Will PAL hires-lace handle it? I use a plain AGA A1200...

I was gonna suggest DiskImage, but i haven't examined XFS so i'll look into it too.

That's right, i have tried Win95 in PC-task and it crawls on my overclocked 060/64mhz . Btw it always crashes if i try to use the BVision screenmodes in it...

Why would i like to emulate PC in my Amiga anyway?

For PC-Task AGA is much faster than RTG. I was quite disappointed, too, when getting my CVisionPPC.

If you have an appropiate multiscan monitor for the Euro36 mode, you can even run in 800x600x256 at reasonable speed.
