True - well-spotted! Unfortunately, this info. is not shown in the HOL entry for Tornado AGA. I thought it was a little strange....

Are there any cache/speed things that you might be able to enhance Jean-Francois? :-)

(And TFX ).

By the way: thank you to JOTD and CFOU and Stingray for the massive amount of updates in the last few weeks.
So is TFX too big to WHDLoad then?

I remember naively thinking that I could speed up Tornado. But those people know how to code...
That said they didn't have any profiling tools we have winuae "heat maps". Would be interesting to experiment it.

TFX is running under whdload but I remember that there are access faults. And not really worth adapting to whdload

EDIT: annnnnd I did it anyway

Hello thought I'd resurrect the old thread. Did you stop work on the Captive II WHDLoad jotd or is that still a work in progress? Would love to see that released. Also Ryder Cup AGA.

As you may have noted, I'm not too much into whdload slave development atm...

I don't know Ryder Cup. Image somewhere?

Ah I didn't know that. Well if you feel like investigating Ryder Cup I've provided the files here on my web space:

https://www.black-shuck.co.uk/amiga/rydercup.zip

Actually I have managed to get Ryder Cup working on my Amiberry setup. It seems very Amiga friendly with a proper Commodore installer. There doesn't appear to be any protection on loading the game however there is no game icon so I've had to create a little script which loads it after booting into the early startup menu. After that it works great. Might be a straightforward and easy WHD install?

There's a generic WHDLoad Ryder cup golf here. https://ftp2.grandis.nu/turran/FTP/N...lfAGA-WHDL.lha

Hmm, i was thinking of Wendetta 2175 .
https://amiga.abime.net/games/view/wendetta-2175
This one could need a few patches like:

The mixed up Joyport / Player 1 is Player 2 Problem.

There is a option to only have the Music, but the SoundFx come back on at the first level boss, no matter what.

A fix for the endless Loop in the Endcredits, when finishing the game.
(when the Credits roll, there is no more way get back to the WB)

A fix for the odd Ship movement in the "3D" Parts. The Ship will be moved around without the players input.
It starts in Level 2 and gets really bad at Level 3 and beyond. A fix for that would be great

Just an idea, of course.

jit is good only for games that use fpu or require very fast power (Red Alert, Earth 2140, Quake and Quake II, Quake Arena).
For the other games it is enough cpu_speed=max. Star Wars Dark Forces is very smooth without jit and so many other DOS conversion made by BSzili, for example.

Wheelspin AGA run very good without jit.

However many HD games have trainer, but when you run the icon, generally, skip crack intro/trainer e start directly the game. Me too i have installed more than 1500 games and i found many crack/trainer, but i choose to not
inclued them.
The only advantage of WHDLoad is possibility to add extra (trainer) to the game.

However esperiece of WHDLoad is not very good: if you want try a game on HD in A500 configuration, with slow loading and game like original, you cannot have with WHDLoad generally loaded in AGA machine with 68020 processor. Yes, you can install WHDLoad on A600, but the memory requirement is more the cost that the fun
