It could be something silly like watching the whole intro in the cd32, but then again no intro on adf's... I tried it and other cd32 versions (Arabian Nights (1993)(Buzz)(M4)) but same result either 90 or 92%

Or by doing everything Ie lightbulkkb hints is downgrading your % or something else is downgrading it. No idea

Either weve missed a bonus room, or game is bugged me thinks

Perhaps someone can ask CFou for optional Arabian Nights slave version.
This version can show % in real time, somewhere on game screen.

in reality i would love something like applied ie in the games with secret areas, like Lionheart , Turrican...
thinking at the Turrican2 Muzza version, with the 100% in each level that unlocks something extra, or something different after each stage...

back to real, the great CFou seems missing from a while here around

Also the slave needs an update for invincibility toggle

At the moment it's holding left amiga to enable invincibility... how can you play with a joystick and hold left amoga at the same time... not possible

it is so amazing that this has been going on for so long i didn't even know you get different points for gems whether you grab them quickly or slowly!!!

this is one of the best Amiga games in my opinion

Maybe using Maptapper this case could be solved? I gave this game a try today and got 90%.
I dided few times so it's not count. In my opinion there's hidden room somewhere

You don't get different points for the speed of picking up gems... in my belief if you spam get multiple gems (50 points each) or smash multiple dtones (10 points each)

*Maybe* sometimes they don't register. Especially the stones (near the end of the stage at the last set of the upstairs...

I've played lvl1 about 15 times. Maybe 13 of them have been 92% and 2 90% can't work out why the difference of 2% let alone the missing 8% ?

I have walked on every crevice of platform to the edge of them all, including the floating platforms. I have jumped endlessly in open space to cover area... but again

The 92% ending is the max I can get with the knowledge I have on the level

I played it just few times so my experience is very poor but if i can bet the secret room is related with pots. There must be 2nd teleport.
Or maybe it's related to "magic latern" but there's no place where to use it...

If someone is skilled enough in using Action Replay 3 or WinUAE debugger can find this address and trace changes.

I had a quick poke around this is what I have found so far

code to update percentage $185c (numbers that get finally displayed)
This code reads from $6bfe0.w (percentage you have gained)
code to add to $6bfe0 is at $1888c
- So far for this is triggered for me when I
1.Enter a new room
2.Sometimes when the screen begins to scroll (left/right / up /down)
3.If the room doesn't scroll but has items / gems to collect it will sometimes trigger just before I collect them
**[potentially touching certain gfx tiles may trigger it] some rooms have 1 trigger some have 4 or more
-then it adds 01 to the percentage.
I will poke around a bit more to see what else triggers to percentage adding.

EDIT:
after poking around some more it seems like there is a table used for gfx tiles at $48f81-49023?
This seems small, I am guessing this is a function call table which is called based off the tile hit
Background tiles may have 00 assigned to them thus calling no action
Floor and wall tiles may have 01 assigned to them thus calling a stop moving action
and so on...

So when you character moves around it calculates where in space he is and pulls up a table based on your position in space and this table then activates (code jumps to) certain functions (hit a gem, found a key ect.......) the one that adds to the percentage is #29 (hex value 29)

Code for this is at $186bc ..... (function jump based off the tile hit is at $186dc - [JSR $4e(PC,d2.w)])

My guess is when the guy designing the levels was using his map making tool he had an option to see whatever tile he wanted to be a hit marker for percentage adding.

EDIT#2
There is a map table at 40f6e+ and the percentage trigger is hex 4A

I don't think Overall Score counts against percentage.. Because

WHDLoad Version i keep scoring 15,960 and getting 92%
I have a previous Save State with IPFs, and scored (I dont remember how) 16,390 but that scored 87%

Can definitly say moving everywhere in the "Known areas" gives 92%

Pressing "H" does this...
Whdload notes say h is slow motion

i did a reverse try here, i walked only in the main path screens without collect any item, apart the first key to open the cell, and the gems that you cannot avoid; and without killing any enemy (invincibility enabled)

and i have enabled the lock pick needed in the middle via cheat (instead of getting it releasing the prisoner)

12 screens, i got 38% ,whatever amount of gems collected

so possibly is it giving 3 points for each room and maybe 1 for the key and 1 for the lock pick?
EDIT reading the Musashi9 post, doesn's seems so simple, maybe shorter screens have less triggerpoints than the bigger ones

there are 8 screens more apart the main ones

I've tried walking on every space in each 3 magic pot warps, as I'm assuming each warp is another room with the same layout. As the map on hol suggests.

But makes no change

I'm starting to run out of ideas?

** I started typing this up, but then realised it makes no difference

Gems x 50 Points
Chest x 20 Points
Unlock Door x 50 Points
Kill Enemy x 150 Points
Stones x 10 Points

12 X Gems - Start = 600 Points
10 x Gems - 1 Secret Room = 500 Points
10 x Gems - 2 Secret Room = 500 Points
6 x Stones - Prisoner Room = 60 Points
36 x Gems - Prisoner Secret Area - 1,800 Points
