I guess A530 is a broken design for WHDLOAD. Or there is a thing that could be fixed within whdload itself. I will probably go back to HD8+ and look for other accelerator.
That is misrepresenting. The A530 doesn't know there's no MMU. The A530 GVP ROM MMU is always on.
If there is also a full 68030 CPU with MMU, the CPU MMU must be disabled otherwise conflict with the GVP ROM MMU.

It's also completely different code, but can run most slaves, so, yes worth a shot.
Tried it now... but no luck. It seems that my mighty 1mb fast on GVP is not enough. Hunting for 4 or 8mb... Not easy.

I bought a couple of modern TubeTimeus GVP 60ns 4MB simms from lowly_tech on ebay recently. The listing currently says out of stock but could be a long shot. A few sellers come up in google when GVP simm is searched. NB the A530 requires 60ns simms.

You should be able to run some games with JST that whdload can run with OS flashes, like 1 disked games. I recommend not to softkick (if not native OS2.x), JST can run on kick 1.3, it saves 500Kb

JST can run games on a CDTV with 1MB chip so you should be able to run games too

I use AGS 2.7A img file on my BLUESCSI - I tried to disable AGS to boot into workbench but even then fast ram is eaten to zero.
I tired to put CLASSICWB image that I made on my WINUAE but it does not boot at all... so a little bit stuck

Boot without startup-sequence and start the game from shell

Of course that´s not comfortable but it will show you if the games will run AT ALL with the A530

even without startup sequence, hard drives have buffers. Use ADDBUFFERS DH0: -100 to remove buffers.

On my A1200 (no fast, 060 board off), if I boot without startup, I get only 400K RAM!! I have to use addbuffers on all the partitions of my CF to increase up to 1.7Meg

I will try to do that but does it work with workbench 3.1? Or is it amigaos command only? Man I feel like drowning since my knowledge is very limited... yet. I have a great ClassicWB image but it does not want to boot from BLUESCSI - it was made under WINUAE and I think uaehf.scsi is the reason. No idea how to change that.

Actually I did use http://aminet.net/package/util/wb/SystemPrefs to tame my 060 on problematic games.

Very interesting. Have no idea how to use that for now. What kind of options are most interesting in this?

you don't have a lot of extra mem. 3MB. Boot without startup sequence, remove buffers using ADDBUFFERS on your devices with a negative value, and you can run AGS or whdload/jst directly. It's possible to run a lot of games on 2MB so 3MB should allow even more games to run.

The buffers are here to cache/speed up HD operations. You don't need that when using games on whdload or JST. Most games can use PRELOAD (no loading during game).

I will try what you just mentioned but I have a bigger problem now. I managed to prep a classicWB install on hd image that is working on BLUESCSI. Now - when I enter SYSINFO it shows 030 CPU but the score is even worse that stock A500. What is going on? Should I install some kind of library? Driving me nuts
40.42 kickstart
40.63 workbench
500+ A530
