I guess A530 is a broken design for WHDLOAD. Or there is a thing that could be fixed within whdload itself. I will probably go back to HD8+ and look for other accelerator.
That is misrepresenting. The A530 doesn't know there's no MMU. The A530 GVP ROM MMU is always on.
If there is also a full 68030 CPU with MMU, the CPU MMU must be disabled otherwise conflict with the GVP ROM MMU.

It's also completely different code, but can run most slaves, so, yes worth a shot.
Tried it now... but no luck. It seems that my mighty 1mb fast on GVP is not enough. Hunting for 4 or 8mb... Not easy.

I bought a couple of modern TubeTimeus GVP 60ns 4MB simms from lowly_tech on ebay recently. The listing currently says out of stock but could be a long shot. A few sellers come up in google when GVP simm is searched. NB the A530 requires 60ns simms.

You should be able to run some games with JST that whdload can run with OS flashes, like 1 disked games. I recommend not to softkick (if not native OS2.x), JST can run on kick 1.3, it saves 500Kb

JST can run games on a CDTV with 1MB chip so you should be able to run games too
