Do you have 1.5MB Ram in the trapdoor expansion so Aca500+ converts it to chip Ram?
I think 2MB Chip is minimum, right?

Sorry, You have right… The game is present on my A500 aca500plus but it doesn’t works the slave need 2044 Kbyte to works ($1FF000).
The aca500plus take advantage of 8372A to have 1MB chip ram like an A500+ but no more… sorry for that wrong information...
I didn’t verify it before write my previous post…
Of course on my A1200 it works correctly but only in WHDLoad…
The game doesn’t works on a floppy due of accelerator Card present in my A1200.

For my A500ACA500Plus, there is a solution to have 2MB CHIP RAM in my A500....
The solution is to buy an ACA2B From Individual Computer (Icomp) but the price is really to expansive.... and I have an A1200

I'm trying to play it on real hardware yes!
Neither the whdload version nor floppy one works.
My a500 rev8 motherboard is fitted with 2mb on board (fattest agnus 2mb). So not using any mem expansion for reaching 2mb chipram and no need too having aca500 plus connected in.
Even without aca500plus, with floppy version, it doesn't work.

From what I understood, any Amiga with 2MB Chip should be enough to play.
I think BrickNash mentioned that he tested it on his real A600 2MB Chip.
Maybe it's some bug, or something.

Try booting with no startup-sequence, and run it from shell (no loadwb command)

This game has strange memory requirements.

You must have 2MB chip + 0.5MB other memory.
Then you must have fast in A600/A1200 too, not only 2 MB chip.

well this version is a way a lot better than original, but man, the memory requirements is a little too much! The original version works with 512k ram, maybe a "not so enhanced" version with only palette fix is a good compromise.

What I mean is just that the only difference between a 2mb a600 and my a500 is the ecs Denise. So is the ecs Denise a must have to start FFE ?
