I have finally found a copy not modified of the game Blue and the Gray (Nord & Sud) from Impressions released in 1993. The full archive is in the flux folder SPSRAW in the EAB FTP.

Your "copy" :

Yours is seen as a copy. So i would advise you to fix your disk with the official IPF made from a pristine original disk in IPF.
Curious why it doesn't recognize the tracks. My decoder recognizes the tracks for Snoopy1234's dump as well as both official IPF's. Will have to take a closer look at the format to see if there is something before the sync or the data. I did play the 1st 10 levels of the IPF made from Snoopy1234's dump then I got bored.

Can I send you an IPF from disk anaylsis made from the official IPF and see if it is recognized?

Converted a SCP of my GGS to ADF and checked bootblock in ADF Workshop by Crashdisk. The Official IPF [2945] and my SCP dump have the same bootblock CRC32: $F1691041.

The check as is it : an original, or a copy doesn't pass by this.

Of course, if you have written the IPF 2945, it's all good.

Thanks Denis. My GGS is the same as the High-Score Bug SPS [2500] version and the same as AmigaFan has in this thread: https://eab.abime.net/showthread.php...rs+SPS+IPF+Bug

Interestingly mr.vince in the above thread has written SPS 2500 to disk and detailed it as a copy....

Were two versions released of the disk ever confirmed? I assume corrected SPS [2945] was released by SPS later?
