Aweb image and font tweaks

I guess I'll try IBrowse at some point, but for now I use AWeb only for a few selected websites and I have no real complaints.

I use it in hires (640x256) because I don't surf much and don't intend scandoubling/flickerfixing. This means I get tall pixels (pixel aspect ~1:2).

I guess some use superhires/interlaced for which the same aspect is true, so maybe someone has tweaked things this way:
  1. Halve height of images
  2. Halve height of fonts (which should mean a new font set?)

It seems the image resizing is already decent, so there might be an aspect factor somewhere? But I haven't found it in the settings.

And swapping out the font families and sizes I can do, but I don't know any that are made for hires, e.g. the built ones aren't; their vertical lines are very thin and the letter aspect is ~1:4. Do you know what I mean?

Mainly, I need a proportional sans-serif font (Verdana would be nice) and a fixed font like Courier but maybe simpler like Consolas or similar; "made for code".

Maybe there's a PD or DTP disk with some nice fonts made for hires?
