The two things are really not related. MacOs is a multitasking Os, and still has many hard-coded addresses, and AmigaOs certainly has at least one hard-coded address (AbsExecBase). The MacOs multifinder copies the currently active values of a running process into the zero-page as soon as it gets the CPU, and copies it back when the process looses the CPU.
