What Are These Cards (A2000)?

I have someone I'm trying to trade with for an Amiga 2000 and it has these cards in it that I can't identify. From the picture they look like they have IDE cables coming off them. He also has an A2091 hard drive card that appears to have maxed out RAM.

Second question. I'm trying to get back into the Amiga again after selling off my A2000 and A3000 and regretting it. What's the best what to upgrade an A2000 these days without breaking the bank? All I really want to do is use WHDLoad to play games. I have a friend who has an A600 that he recapped, but he wants $600 for it which seems kind of high to me.

I asked the owner and he said:

"One is a math co-processor and the other is an accelerator or memory"

Neat. I wonder how compatible it is? The problem with all those 'IBM in your Apple/Amiga/Atari' things is that they all worked for business software but had so-so compatibility with games.

You can forget games, unless you attach a separate ISA display adapter.

The software based display adapter emulation is quite slow.

The other SCSI card inside the machine is a Supra Wordsync. http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/wordsync

The A2091 does DMA, so is the better card of the two in a 68000 system. If you install a turbo card with 32bit memory, the wordsync will likely be more compatible, as it does not do DMA.

The A2091 is just a RAM/Hard Drive card right? It's not an accelerator at all?

What's the cheapest way to upgrade an Amiga 2000 to an 030? I used to have a GVP030 Hard Drive card in my old A2000. I've heard go things about that PiStorm device.

I would upgrade to a PiStorm with A2000 CPU adapter. It will cost about £60 and will give you 060+ performance. 128MB FastRAM. The fastest HDD controller ever. RTG gfx card. Wifi network card. (In the future Audio card, scan-doubler)

Any downsides to this other than wanting to keep everything 'period'
