I remember Command & Conquer came out before Z and that was PPC only, the only outlier that I can think of that is somewhat similar is Warcraft II on Mac which works on 68040. Would be interesting if someone could find an actual dump of this 1998 Mac release of Z so we could check it out. |

When I watched a vid about the Z gameplay I felt that I saw something similar in CF, and as this viewpoint is in Chaos Engine, Jurassic Park, Xpedition and Virocop too, besides with other titles, the emphasis is on how it shows similarities with CF for me. |

That's interesting, I can't find an actual box scan for the Mac version of Z... It must have been a rare release indeed. Quote:

1997 still saw a few major 68k Mac games (Civ II, Master of Orion II, Settlers II), but in 98, only some edutainment and shareware games were 68k.

...but Napalm IS more fun and doesn't run well on the Mini. Maybe an RTG version of AMiNIMiga will help to get it playable?

Thank you Interesting that they didn't switch to PC because the game wasn't running well on the Amiga, but because the Amiga 'was dead'.
