Amiga 500 - PC floppy physical fit
Hi folks - while I’m happy enough modifying a pc floppy drive electronically to work with a A500, I wondered if there are any particular drives that are better suited to the physical fit?

As far as I know, you always need to cut a bit the metal top cover. Usually about 5 millimeters are enough. And obviously you will have to replace the original eject button with one that fits the hole of the A500 case.

Yes, I saw a blog post from Linux Jedi with a custom 3d printer button, guess that’s the way to go!

Exactly... anyway keep in mind that a converted PC Floppy Disk Drive will never be 100% compatible with all Amiga games. However there are some models that are better than others.
Many people convert the Samsung SFD-321B because the mod is very easy but it actually isn't able to read quite a few games. Here you can see some tests made with an Alps DF354H, a Sony MPF920 and A Teac FD-235F:  Good luck with your mod!
