I remember Zool being one of the very first games (alongside Prehistorik) I've played in my primary school during computer classes. I was blown away how colorful and super dynamic it was (sometimes even too dynamic).
I hope that I could catch this dynamic feeling in the banner. Enjoy! I present to you all the ZOOL Banner. |

Those kind of banners are really hard because Zool has many memorable stages, especially the notorious music stage. Hard to cram all of that into a banner like that. Maybe in such cases they should be twice as wide or something

960 x 200 is all you get Often the main challenge is to decide what you leave out.

Thank you, tygre.
I can already spoil, that the work on the ZOOL 2 banner has begun. I am also collecting screenshots for a game that I would very much like to make a banner of and it's a painful process. I will be really happy when I'll be done with the game and can start having fun by deciding, which element to put on the banner. Which game? No spoilers! |

Well... this one was the hardest yet. Because there just isn't much to work with Terrible backgrounds (what few there are), weirdly chosen colors, sprites which are either too big or too small... ugh. So I had to get a little creative and picky.
I present to you, a Tiertex masterpiece. Strider. Pixel doubled version: https://imgur.com/YlLVEJQ And as a little bonus, the minimalist version. Because this is the part of the banner I like a lot, I got creative with drawing focus I had to do a lot of cutting, pasting and filling in holes for this one. The logo was in front of "The master" so I had to get real creative with copy/pasting there to fill gaps and whatever version of Strider I downloaded had corrupted graphics, so I had to repair that by hand as much as I could... It's a shame, because if I had done a banner for the arcade version, it probably would have been a lot less scuffed. I'm not doing Strider 2. Just... no. |

Nice one, gimbal!
I really like the middle section. Well done on the logo and the warrior on the left. As for the background - I had the same struggle with Supremacy, I wasn't sure if having black parts or almost whole black background would look good, but as we can see on your banner, it works! Not doing Strider 2? Come on. You know you want to. |

I thought I try some motivational speech. Here it goes: YOU CAN DO IT! And just to let you know: I am planing to do a Gobliins 2 banner, which gathering screenshots for was a huuuuge pain, so there, I know how you might feel. |

At least it isn't Goblins 3. That game is ridiculous.

I did it...I finally did it!
The struggle of playing through the whole game to get the screenshots was big, but in the end it was worth it. Not only did I see the whole game, but I could also create this little piece. I must say, I am pretty happy with this one. I present to you all: Gobliins 2 The Prince Buffoon banner |

That's one for the books. Nice choice of scenes, very late game so probably quite a lot of people haven't actually seen them I'm missing a wizard in a pot though.

You got me thinking for a bit with the wizard in a pot. Don't confuse me like that. I kinda like the wizard from the intro in this one to be honest and modest. Thank you, Seiya. I had a lot of fun putting all the little details. I'm really glad, you like it. I think that everytime you'll look at it, you will find a different thing that will catch your eye. |
