I`ll try that, the only thing left to do I suppose.
Lets try and get this back on topic, as last few posts are comparing ARM SoC to a Full PC SoC. Pointless to compare that way.

Anyway, I tried LionHeart, screen and scrolling perfect here, only issue I did notice, was sound very slightly choppy.
We have'nt even gone into tweaking settings as yet. We are planning to.

I ordered one two months ago and haven't seen any change in the status on AmigaKit's website other than "Pending".

On the plus side it must mean that sales have been good and exceeded expectations? A robust and healthy Amiga market in 2024?
Could always email or PM me here. So I can check where you are. We are making them as fast as we can.

Glad to hear, FOL!

I hope that "all" 68k will work without problems in the near future.

I also hope that you can get crt filters working some time soon!

Was VRR turn on for your TV? Your experience was wildly different from mine. I wasn't experiencing a few frames dropped here and there, the emulator was clearly struggling with lot's of consistent drops (1st Stage), the only time the scrolling returned to a consistent frame rate was the 2nd stage inside the cave, minus all the parallax and copper gradients giving the emulator some breathing space.

Sorry to harp on about this, just trying to give some feedback.

@FOL. Variable Refresh Rate. It can smooth out inconsistences with fluctuating frame rates. Some modern TV's have this feature, along with other motion smoothing modes, my current display had them on by default until I turned them off.

1) The A600GS SoC, Allwinner H616, does not support VRR. It only has a HDMI 2.0a

2) FOL is too cheap to own a 120Hz TV

The A600GS SOC is the later H618 (not a H616) which maybe HDMI 2.1

Type of rubbish doesnt interest me. Same as surround sound.
I remember when they introduced motion plus for 100Hz CRT's, turned that off straight away.

My Samsung 4K is proberly some insane Hz, as I said though, not interested.

SUPER SKIDMARKS RACING GAME BUNDLED ON THE A600GS

Cardiff, 13 August 2024

Amiga Indie Games developer, Chris Blackbourn has given approval for his
classic Amiga game, Super Skidmarks to be pre-installed on the new A600GS.

Super Skidmarks is now installed ready to play on the A600GS. Existing A600GS users can download a free update directly from Amisphere.com to install the games to the games menu.

Skidmarks was a multiplayer top down racing game created by New Zealand programmer, Chris Blackbourn. It was released for the Amiga in 1993 to much acclaim from users and magazines. The game featured 3D cars that could race around a selections of track. The graphics pushed the Amiga's capabilities at that time. The gameplay was enjoyable especially when playing in multiplayer mode with up to four friends. Super Skidmarks followed as an update in 1995 with more tracks and vehicle types. Players could add caravans hitched to their cars or even race cows on wheels!

Chris is reviving the Skidmarks game by developing a new internet multiplayer version named Epic Skidmarks. Matthew Leaman, MD of AmigaKit Ltd commented on the collaboration: “We are grateful to Chris that he has given his approval to include his much loved racing game with the A600GS. I know many of our users will be so pleased to relive this classic racing game. Chris new project, Epic Skidmarks looks great!"

Chris Blackbourn remarked: "It's fantastic to see the Amiga community enjoying these classic games, and sharing them with a new generation of gamers. Thanks AmigaKit Ltd for supporting the community!"

The A600GS computer system is available now from AmigaKit.com and AmigaKit.fr

Additional Information about A600GS and it's components can be found on these websites:

Ah, this is awesome.

Is it (at least theoretically) possible playing Dyna Blaster or Master Blaster in 4 players mode, using 2 Amiga joysticks, and 2 USB joysticks, on the A600GS?
From what I recall, Super Skidmarks could also support 4 players mode back in the day, if I am not wrong?

Interesting idea. I imagine that could be very feasible. Amiberry supports "Emulated Parallel Port Joystick Adapter". The HID input is probably irrelevant, Amiga joysticks, USB, Bluetooth I imagine it doesn't matter so long as the underlaying OS detects them.

It should be possible to play 4 player compatible games by using the 2x USB and 2x DB9 ports
