To me, it doesn't even need to be faster, if it opens up new possibilities.

time to go and fetch my A500 which is collecting dust in my garage

About the connector, what would be the final price of such hardware and could it be mass produced ? (raspberry aside, I have 2 of those Pi3 already)

Claude is experimenting with capturing and display of the Amiga native digital video from Denise using a Cypress fx2lp microcontroller board to Pi USB. Only doing 3 bit RGB initially https://twitter.com/Claude1079/statu...812868/photo/1

If this can scale to 12 bit RGB with good frame rate, no lag and not impact emulation performance too much it will make for a nice alternative to the popular RGB2HDMI.

I'm not saying Vampire is bad.

Hi, I know this is an old thread, but I couldn't help smiling a bit. Indeed, the extra features are good - and what a ride I've had with my CDTV since I first learned about the Pistorm some three years ago!

I think I was pretty early with this, and it's come a long way since then... from the first Musashi Linux based versions with quite a few issues, albeit stable, to the newest Emu68 with mind boggling CPU performance - both having loads of RAM, RTG, wi-fi and a potential for AHI as well.

So I can't say I regret buying this inexpensive card and a Pi, even though bus arbitration has yet to be implemented.
I never thought I'd see that kind of performance on my old CDTV!
