Please try hard mode and see if accurate shooting is enough to beat the game in hard mode...

Not sure how I beat this with cheat mode, as I used minimal shooting as well..

I'll give final release a go tomorrow thx

Just had a go with the cheat on, on hard. 1 bullet left after the first gun (but I used x2 bullets to activate the cheat mode). 1 bullet left after pistol. 1 bullet after machine gun, and 3 bullets left after the chain gun, with both grenades to spare (each saves 4 bullets).

I notice the bullet holes in the scenery appear when shooting enemies, causing glitches and artifacts, but thats ok. I also noticed ammo is set to 0,0 on the game complete screen - which can probably cause an instant dealth.

Do certain guns push 2 bullets instead of 1? Because I noticed some guns do that...

I thought the machine gun does 2 bullets on one click becuase of the spray effect?

Or is that incorrect?

Should all 1 click equal to 1 bullet spent?

1st gun should be 2 bullets per shot. Pistol is 1 bullet. I think machine gun is 2, and chain gun is 4 bullets per shot.

Crysis V1 Feedback

I Finished the game in Hard Mode only (Difficulty 3). Both with and without cheats, both skipping and not skipping cutscenes.

The game worked perfectly.

No error screens or issues were encountered.

I found I had enough bullets towards the end of the game...

Accurate shooting in Hard Mode shows 3 bullets remaining (which, in reality, is only 1 bullet left).

... Final Boss in Hard Mode: clicking the left mouse button when you have no bullets also fires a grenade. I'm not sure if this was made intentionally. Might it make more sense that the grenade is only used with "right click"??

... Any intentions on adding Delta Difficulty?

Other than that, the game is perfect and a lot of fun.

AmigaBill's twitch launches with Crysis Icon, Like you said, "Main Menu" should be forced on the first launch.

I'm not sure what he means by GFX glitch; I don't see it. Maybe he's talking about the slide GFX?

BTW, the clock matches my window clock.

Though I didnt see the analog clock in my HDF like in AmigaBill's Video?

If you only have 3 bullets left, and the gun needs 4 bullets per shot, then you'd better make sure to kill the boss with one burst, or you will probably die of a lack of bullets? I've not tried this.
I guess I should add at least 1 extra bullet, so they have 4 at the end - just enough for the boss.

I guess if one grenade drops from the grenades counter, then this is working like that, but I didn't do it. I would guess the issue is the zero ammo checker? The final boss blows up JUST LIKE you used a grenade, if you did or not, and this is intentional. Most players, including Bill, ignored the right mouse button; even though he read out the controls instructions.

No. If anything it made me want to extend the game play, and add more to it. But I'm not sure I will get around to that, as I need to finish my other games off, like my train simulator. Maybe if you would like to help me with that?

Yes, if you get in to the zone, it's possible to close your eyes and imagine you are playing the real game. Even with my dodgy drawn enemies!

I'll definately be making V1.01 with this change. I can simply make a 'newbie' variable in the game, and if the variable is set to zero, the Crysis app will automatically close, and boot up the full menu; - where the DOS section sets the variable to 1, and saves it to Vars. At least then, people will get to see the full experience. After that, it doesn't matter, as most wont come back to it again. It's just a bit too easy! But I didn't want it to be too hard either.

I replied 'its just ham' several times, but not sure Bill saw my comments. It's not possible to overlay anything over HAM unless you include the exact background in with your graphics, to create it's own mask. It's possible to do this by copying the background tile of just the sprite area, and pasting it off screen. Then pasting the sprite over it. Then picking all of that up, and putting it down over that spot on the image. It's possible! But I'd have to make the screen bigger, and switch off the auto screen scroll. Maybe it can be done, at least for the guys???

Just click on the calendar, like Bill did in his video, and the analogue clock should come up. You can also click Sound, and the small Nav Bar icons will bring up my debug menu. Clicking on the analogue clock will close it. Otherwise, the clock will remain on the screen, like it did in Bill's video. This is a BUG, as you saw it said "ERROR Happened" before the intro video was played. That means the app failed to close the analogue clock.

Yes, all of the clocks in the game are set to the WB Real-Time Clock, so they should be close to real time.

There was also a hidden message for Bill on the Quick Menu, by clicking the Crysis logo, but he did not click on it. This will have to be changed for 1.01.

I'll also close the analogue clock on the Crysis Menu - this is not a feature of crysis is should not be there.

Thank you. I'm very happy to share this experience with someone other than myself.

I had a play with screen widths. I can change the screen and window widths anywhere I like in every other mode, except for HAM mode, which is fixed to 320. So I can't try my off-screen draw idea.

With the small details like 1 extra bullet and forcing the player to see the menu, I'm not in any big rush to release another update. Maybe later.
