Documentation
Is there some place where I can download the current (up-to-date) documentation of WinUAE ? I can't find one on www.winuae.net and the only one I managed to find is fro WinUAE 0.8.22R2 (and I don't remember where I downloaded it as it was weeks ago).

That site doesn't exist anymore, but there is a documentation project under https://www.vware.at/projects/winuae/
The site states it is the official WinUAE documentation but I wonder if that is true. Neither here nor on the WinUAE website I can find any link to that site. Furthermore, at least for me, the documentation doesn't work. It opens a help window if I click the 'Help' button, but the main help window stays empty regardless which entry I click on the left. Also the link to the online documentation points to an empty page. Any hints how I can see the documentation? |

Where the webpage itself and the "Help" button inside current WinUAE (re)directs for the online Help to does not exist anymore, basically 404. But google found it. Seems it moved long time ago to the subdomain https://winuaehelp.vware.at/ and more unfortunately stuck there at version 3.0.4 (for WinUAE 4.9) The 3.0.8 Help (for WinUAE 5.1) download for offline use, linked if you scroll down at https://www.vware.at/projects/winuae/ or use the link Rock'n Roll provided, works here. (Had to unpack the .chm file to read the help because i am on linux though.) |
