Mind you, the attributes mini games shows some garbled graphics in both versions.

You mean the WHDload & JST Versions or both JST´s ?

I could not see any Graphic Glitches on those Mini Games.
(Tested on WinUAE & FPGA)

Hmmm, but at least we have a working German Version now
(for all those Germans ... and i am not one of them )

The odd thing is, that i still believe JOTD had a different set of IPF´s when he made/tested the Slave...

; because there are some odd Characters in the German IPF´s you showed me, same with the English JST version.

Are those hacked Versions ...? very odd.

Just scroll through at all the Characters in the English JST or German WHDLoad version from your MEGA Upload.


Now compare those with all the other Heimdall WHDLoad Packs.
(except the German)

Thats why i think the German IPF´s are not 100% legit and hence the cause for that Error (not working Load function)

Hmmmm, maybe someone has a Legit German Heimdall IPF set ?

The WHDLoad version was installed using original RNC copylocked ipfs.

Disk 1 is the only one that differs, disks 2-3-4-5 is the same as the english version, just like the french version.

Exactly.

Disk.0 is the only one that changes between Languages.

But those Faces in the German IPF´s seemed "hacked in" ; (also in the English JST Pack)
it´s also the only one that dosent work in the WHDLoad Retroplay Pack. (the LOAD game feature)

Hmm, if anybody would have a original German Heimdall Disk and would show all those Character Portraits,
that would be interesting

We need the german manual for the original though and I haven't seen it anywhere.

I did another Test.

You see, the English WHDLoad Pack has the Normal Character Portraits,
but the English JST has the Image with the "odd ones" .... (which i thought would be a hacked version)

So then, i renamed and copied the "hacked english" Disk Zero from The JST to the WHD. (overwritten Disk.0)

I expected the same LOAD error as in the German WHD Pack)

But it worked.

Now i am more confused then ever.

1) Why are there for example, two english Heimdall versions, but have different Characters in it ? Thats so odd.

2) Why are the Heimdall Images, Manuals and Cracks so super rare to find ?

3) What is going on with the German WHDLoad version of Heimdall ?
