Does someone know where the development of Rastan, Scorpion version is at? I wonder if it's stopped but couldn't find any recent update.
And big thanks to Earok for this wonderful Scorpion tool!
This would be the dedicated thread and the last post about an update: https://eab.abime.net/showthread.php...27#post1651627

If you tick 'search titles only' it's the second result for Rastan.

Yes, I've seen this afterwards, thank you.
I guess I didn't see it previously because it's been such a long time it was last updated.
Sorry for the slight OT

Latest experimental update:

The new OCS/ECS/AGA trackdisk targets will generate an ADF that boots from the raw sectors rather than a DOS disk layout. It saves a little ram over the previous best way to save memory (the 'endrun' scheme) but over time this will be improved, with the eventual goal of overwriting the OS entirely to claim every last byte of memory back from the Amiga ROM. This has not been tested on real drives, but it does use the tried and true Solid Gold disk reader library, so hopefully it's all good.

As a slight aside to that, I've posted source for two subprojects:

- Source for the current bootsector. https://github.com/earok/scorpion-ed...bootsector.asm

- Solid Gold wrapper for Blitz Basic (just contains trackdisk functions currently but there's a lot of really good stuff in the Solid Gold source that I may adapt in future). https://github.com/earok/solid_gold_blitzbasic
earok is online now
