Dedicating Months to Platforms

You've probably already stumbled on DOScember, MARCHintosh, ComMAYdore or SepTandy as some communities' attempts to focus activities throughout a particular month, conjuring up a pun while at it.

I find this quite practical to schedule yearly recurring activities around months other community members are also dialed into a platform.

What about the Amiga? Do you schedule any focused Amiga activities for ComMAYdore, or do you keep it Commodore 8-bit kosher for May? In that case, would you prefer to have a dedicated AMIgust, jAMIGuAry, or even AprIGA?

Lets not stop here, how about some love for other retro platforms such as FAMIbruary, Mega JUNEsis, Neo JULeo, Master Systember, PlayStober, and Super NESvember?

What other cheesy/clever puns can you come up with for your favorite platforms? And don't stop at months. If you can't shoehorn it into a month, go out of the box and do something like dedicate a whole year to it, such as the upcoming X28000.

"jAMIGuAry" - I kind of dig this one, but just Jamiguary. We're not composing a ransom letter here

For a few more European examples, how about SpecTEMBER, JamstUARY, MARCHimedes and MAYgadrive? Good excuse to try some different systems I guess?

Yeah, July would of been an awesome month especially due to the anniversary on the 23rd.

Indeed. January is a good midway point to the more established July month, besides being at a time when we are still high on our retro resolutions for the new year. Also, the Amiga Ireland weekend has mostly been in January, if I'm not mistaken.

Amiga is special all year round, I can share that sentiment. Regrettably, not all months in English have letters in the right order to make the puns punchy and memorable. If they did, I'd be considering replacing the month names on my personal systems' regional settings to Amiga ones.

Great suggestions! I'm definitely adding these into my calendar as a note. Keep them coming!
