Genetic Species - beginning of Day 2

After 15 years I decided to play again Genetic Species. I completed Day 1 but I'm stuck at the beginning of Day 2. There is a checkpoint where I'm asked for ID card. I don't have it so "intruder alert" starts and all doors are sealed. After short shoot'em up all enemies are dead, I switch off plasma barrier and at the end of the corridor there is a sealed door which I can't open.
What should be done here?

Yes but after 15 years I can't remember what was the "secret".

Maybe somebody has made a walkthrough that they haven't shared yet. You'd think that there would be one online, but I couldn't find one.

Paper magazines printed many good solutions. Genetic Species was released in 1998, so not many magazines were active but maybe somobody remembers GS solution in Amiga Format or CU Amiga.
