Touhou on Amiga?
So, the Touhou videogame franchise...most of us probably already know what I'm talking about, it's a group of videogames in the shoot 'em up/bullet hell genre that started in the mid 90s and became incredibly popular.
Sadly they're exclusive to Windows, but what if the Amiga also got one of those games? Even with the AGA hardware there's a lot of limitations on what we can do, especially because of all those small bullets. So I was imagining something akin to the PC-98 games, which run in 640x400 (Like all the other titles on that platform). AGA's hires no flicker mode would be a good fit for this kind of project, and the 16-color graphics would be pretty much the same by using 4 bitplanes. As for the hardware sprites, they could be used for the HUD and maybe the main character. What do you guys think about this? [ Show youtube player ] |

Yeah, I was already aware of that game...its development seems to be paused though, and it's not quite the same thing
