I've tested the Hard Drive version & it doesn't need 020+ to run … but read on. It works perfectly on my A2000 (1MB Chip 8MB Fast) with it's plain 68000 based Supra Turbo 28 MHz Accelerator. However if I switch the Supra to 7MHz mode, Quit key (Q) won't work but other than that it plays fine.

This is epic, congrats to the whole team for your continued hard work.

Can’t wait to get the full game!

I found very cool detail on first stage, You can actually defeat Bob before he eat his donuts and take riot shield. He just became super aggressive when he is low on health.
The demo is just missing features (for example alternate visuals when playing co-op with the same character), and levels, we have many levels under development, some of which have quite interesting effects, others are more "standard" like level 1.

We have network co-op and computer controlled co-op that will both probably be released as a demo at some point as well.

To everyone that has played the demo and provided feedback or just reported your success (or failure) in running the game - thank you so much!

We can't really reply to feedback and suggestion posts as we won't be making final decisions on many of these things at the moment, but rest assured the feedback and suggestions are very valuable to us and we read and consider all of it!

Damn, I've read certain comments under other threads and some people really are butthurt about Metro Siege...I don't like the game either, but I'd never accuse the developers for some random bullcrap

Tiny feedback - the demo detected one of my CD32 joy pads but not the other, I love the auto-detect idea but being able to set manually as well would be great.

And to re-state the obvious - awesome work, I love it!

Been playing the demo solidly over the past week. It's truly amazing!

Everything feels great, and the cosmetics are incredible! I particularly love the music! Played with floppies on WinUAE with a Megadrive pad, and my A600 with a 2-Button Quickshot Maverick.

Looking forward to buying the full game. Hopefully it'll be big box so I can sit it on my Amiga shelf!

There have been a few fixes in the recent BETA releases around detection. Previously it would only detect joypads when the menu screen loaded (apart from in the joytest where it detects constantly). Now it also detects when the game starts. Also previously the player 2 port would not allow the "play" button to operate the menus. If you try the latest version (https://metrosiege.com/download/beta/) it will fix both of these issues.

Of course, this might not be the problem you had.

About collecting energy, as i stated I find it a bit difficult to collect them, especially while i'm surrounded by many opponents. ... currently we have to press down and press the fire button which can obviously moving the player character off the item if you didn’t get it right at first time..
it is possible to rethinking a little bit this aspect?

Btw by playing with the keyboard maybe we could dedicate a specific key ?

Yeah this is what i mentioned but it doesn't seem like anyone is interested in changing it?
I think there's a reason every beat em up that ever existed did not do things this way. Fair enough to try to reinvent the wheel and see how it works but this is clearly a massive gameplay flaw IMO.

If I'm not mistaken this is exactly how Streets of Rage did it. Metro Siege seems to have quite a few nods to it included.

I quite like the collecting food mechanic, it adds an element of risk when a load of baddies are hanging around.

It is not that hard, at least You do not have to worry about accidentally pick up food items when You are full on health.
