Hooooo Building a HDF image for PIStorm32 Lite (Mushashi)

Hello!! :-)

So I thought I would be smart and use WinUAE to build a HDF image for my Mushashi deployment on PIStorm and spent a long time buiding a workbench 3.2.1.1 in Win-UAE and it works wonderfully.

Copied it to my PIstorm over SCP and it Pistrom starts - but wont boot from this this HDF.

So, after getting super annoyed over the course of a few hours as I searched for an answer - only to find that the only support PiSCSI HDF's with "it is a full drive RDSK/RDB image," ??

https://github.com/captain-amygdala/...s/amiga/piscsi

Which is the annoying bit as the HDF I made did not have this setting and looks like I need to redo it

So does anyone know of a good guide for building HDF's for Pistorm32?

Help is always good. thanks!

Andy

The best guide I can give you is not to use Musashi at all. It's not been updated in quite a while and is slower and less compatible than Emu68, albeit it does not work with HDFs. Is there a particular reason you are trying to use this? If you use the disk partitions Emu68 uses then you can mount this in WinUae if needed

A guide for setting up a card for Emu68 is here:

I can understand that - but the reason was to create my hard drives in a WinUAE then export/SCP to the card.

I have used Emu68K but having to remove the SD card each time I want to update it rather than SSH into it, is a bit of a pain.

But I will go back to this.
