Tool to batch palette remap?
Is there any tool that will batch process a bunch of IFF or PNG files And remap them to a fixed palette?
It could be an Amiga tool or a PC tool. I have no idea. |

I wrote a tool that can do this, but unfortunately it is really only easy to build it on mac/unix. If you get stuck I could convert the files for you. |

Thanks idrougge, I will check that out although I am not sure if it is what I need, because I need to do this to pics and not brushes. I'll give it a go see if it works regardless.
Is there any tool that would do not just remapping but also dithering if necessary? |

That's fine, I added PNG in case it was a PC tool.

@Akira, PPaint doesn't care if it's a brush or a picture, though you may need to alter the script to suit your specific needs.

Gonna. Bump this.
I used a batch script that simulates key presses on PC - Every picture took 30 seconds and I had thousands of pics. There must be a better way? I mean how do people do the AGS conversions? |

I wrote a windows tool to do this that wraps nconvert. It'll do single or batch converting and supports png, jpg, webp and iff. It'll output iff, png and pdf in anywhere from true colour to 8 colours indexed. It's on my github page.
