Thanks. Now I understand how it works and am finally able to save my settings. I think the hint you plan to implement will greatly help users understand how shaders (and saving presets) work.

In the current nightly, the Save button has been moved to the parameter view. In addition, there is another save button in the view of the Shader Passes.
Both buttons have the same function.
The emulator recognizes itself whether a simple or complete preset needs to be saved.
If only parameters have been changed, they are saved with a reference to the original shader preset.
If several shaders have been combined or properties of the individual shader passes have been changed, a completely new preset is created instead of referencing the existing preset.
