Aural Synthetica by Blachford Technology
Hi!
I just stumbled upon an interesting Amiga synth program that I never knew existed, probably because it was released so late: Aural Synthetica. I was wondering if anyone here used it back in the day? The program seems to have quite amazing features. It would also be interesting to know how it compares to its modern peers such as Pretracker. For example, does it offer something that Pretracker and other similar tools don't? |

I think it only creates samples. I'll have to try recompiling the BeOS version on Haiku. This could be handy.

It's powerful, but the filters wont be very good and it's slooooow - I didn't know about optimisation back then. I'm actually back writing a new synth, but it's for the Mac. That said, I'm planning on adding some Paula based oscillator modes. |
