You need to clean the inside of the pins too. Strip down a q-tip or something to get inside and if you see black gunk still coming up, keep at it.
The other part is that whatever power supply you are using, has at least 20A on the 5V rail, that is not tied to the 12V load. If you have a multimeter measure the 5V on the edge of the motherboard next to the RAM. The loose rule of thumb is if this is less than 4.85V then you are likely in for some problems, but depending on the power supply less can still work just fine. |

So did a full clean.. Did not help. Was also not dirty.
When I connected the floppy (which was disconnected for all the testing) it was really really unstable. So yes that should be the psu.. So just bought a bracket and some cables to connect an atx.. |

Totally off topic, but is WarpStat unlike most WarpOS programs and actually runs MUI? I wonder if the sources for WarpStat are available, and if they point to missing MUI headers or something. |

I am guessing that it is a 68k app that uses ppc functions to read the required data.

So I want to buy Ragnarok. After researching Internet I found some source of this card. I sent inquiries to Artisan, some guy from China and to Embedded Sales. Artisan offered me this card for almost 5000 $. Guy from China - 2000 $. And from Embedded Sales I get this:
Sorry, don't have time for hobbyist requests right now I think this guy is a jerk. I understand he wouldn't sell this card for "hobbyist", but such answer ist simply defiant. How many of you asked this company about Ragnarok? Last edited by OSH; 16 July 2024 at 11:28. |

Probably if we could organize a sammelthread bestellung to order a batch of 10, 20 or 50 we could get the price down to something reasonable. Or better yet somebody like Kipper that is willing to outlay $20k in parts and essentially sell their labor to assemble them it could end up being pretty cheap. |

What size 3V regulator is needed for Ragnarok?
I bought a carrier from ‘Chiel73’ with no 3V regulator. He said the 5A one on the Firebird is enough for the Apocalypse but not the Ragnarok. IIRC the one on Ramix carrier is 20A. What are the other DIY ones rated for? |

Sprichst Du Deutsch?
But yeah you have right. And then send to this jerk from Embedded Sales, he will make us an offer, and then say him „we are hobbyist, so we won't buy this from your company, because you hadn't time for one of us" Last edited by OSH; 17 July 2024 at 14:24. |
