I wonder if anyone knows the whereabouts the xenium core author these days. I knew him way back in the late 90s or so. The email address I had for him is long dead. It was a cool mod. Pretty damn hard as I remember.

I think the quickest way to do that would be to just temporarily build a version with an alternative shade table incbin'd to see how well it works. I did a bunch of work some time ago to better understand that data and have some tooling to create it. One for tomorrow lunch I reckon.

This probably needs it's own forum thread but the author of Project Osiris has apparently joined the gzdoom TKG effort now.

Obviously this is great news but some of us are still waiting for the rolling/playable demo levels of AB3D1 that were promised to be added to Osiris a couple of years back

My modded version of Level M is a homage to the original playable demo. The layout is mostly identical to the TKG level, but the exterior lighting and retexturing is intended to reflect that demo.

just tested with pistorm32, solid 50 fps. just out of curiosity could the player height be adjusted ? and also the bobbing ? feels like he is always crouching and running at the same time. other than amazing work on tkg ! looking foward to higher screenmodes being fullscreen in the future.

Maybe you are. Have you tried pressing the duck button?

yes when i press the duck button it gets even lower more like a crawl.

perhaps im the only one bothered by it

Wait till you see the resulting hybrid if you successfully mate with the flappy thing on the first level.

Note: This only works if the player is in Duck form during the erm.... procedure.
