Pi5 build inside a A1200 (keyboard question.)

So been thinking about doing this mod build for a while, and thought Id ask for some advice.

The main one is the Keyboard question, how to get an Amiga keyboard to connect to pi5. What solution are out there, and which one would you suggest?

Keyrah v3
Kipper 2K (can you even get this?)
A500 Keyboard Adapter HID (do A500 keyboard fit A1200 case? im sure they do.)

Any other Im missing, and what would be the easiest and cheapest? (i havent got the keyboard yet)
I know Steve (checkmate) was looking into making a keyboard and there maybe a A500 Maxi but not too sure if I want to wait for these maybe solutions.

Buy a cheap USB Keyboard & put the Pi5 in it's own enclosure.

Steve's Checkmate A1500 Plus keyboard [ Show youtube player ] uses either an A500 or A1200 Keyboard chassis. The A500 has an AT connector & the 12 uses a USB Printer type of cable.

At least not without destroying/heavily modifying the case ...

It might cost you more to do what you want to do than buy a real A1200 & throw a PiStorm32Lite into it.

In this [ Show youtube player ], it looks like they have used Steve's A1200 Checkmate adapter board. - His Hack on the Plastic leaving the keyboard membrane over the metal edge of the keyboards back plate is shoddy in my book. Better to cut the metal so to save trapping the membranes motherboard interface strip.

And yes, an A500 Keyboard frame will fit in the A1200 case with slight modification. - Note that some earlier A500 Keyboards have slightly different sized function keys such as Shift & Ctrl.
