Speaking from my experience I wouldn't have pushed the big red button with Thalamus until I knew the game was already complete. Cecconoid did have some delays after preorder but Thalamus did a fantastic job of keeping it all on track and keeping everyone who ordered informed at every stage.

So it's safe to say roguecraft is following the same path.
