They dared to stray from the beaten path when it comes to how it controls and plays, so chances are slim it will ever get to a state of mixed reviews in today's gamer climate. The larger problem seems to be that it still performs like trash.

A shame they don't seem to have got this right yet, it's always nice to see our classic games updated.
