P1917Sf?
So it's complicated. I had newer P1917S and it has problems with 15kHz signal. |

I’ve attached a pic from the service menu, you can see the vertical lines in SWOS. The only mode I have found that minimises these bars is DBLPAL hi res no flicker which works pretty well.
I have also failed to get rid of the bars on my Dreamcast with VGA box, but the image over VGA from a PC and Mac is fine. |

I have an Acer K222HQL that partially supports 15khz through the Commodore Sync dongle. It supports Pal hires interlace on the Workbench (not de-interlaced and the quality isn't great). This mode is not very useful (I use MULTISCN:Productivity). That's the not so interresting part.
Now for the delightfully bizarre part: When you switch to PAL hires interlace on the Workbench, 15khz WHDLoad games work I've only tested it with Pang, Turrican 3 and Ruff'n Tumble. Found this out while messing around. And no, they really don't work without this strange trick. Would love to know why. |

You can add the Viewsonic VX2276-SMHD to this list. The 24" and 27" variants probably also would work. I bought 3 of them off Amazon, two for my Re-Amiga 1200's working through the VGA video port. They work great through VGA, except with interlaced screens. I typically run my Workbench in Hi-Res Interlaced and on these monitors it works, but looks like crap. However, switching to DBLNTSC Non-Interlaced, it's rock solid. Handles PAL and NTSC screens. Highly recommended.

In this page (https://github.com/planeturban/15khz), there are plenty of Dell models close to mine (the U2414H). How probable is that mine also supports 15khz?
I wish I had some gear to test it before I bought all the necessary cables. |

Although it's not listed in the manual, the Asus VG245 can do PAL and NTSC at 15kHz but without aspect ratio correction. The Image > Aspect Control option is disabled and as far as I can tell the service menu (power on with the X button held down) doesn't have any way to enable it. I also tried messing around with the Image > Position and Image > Focus options but they weren't helpful either.
It will do DBLPAL and DBLNTSC at 31kHz with aspect ratio correction, but that's not what you want for games. However if you're looking for a flat screen monitor you're absolutely sure will do 15kHz and will have the right aspect ratio and doesn't seem to be listed anywhere, Microvitec are still going... only now I can't justify buying one because I've got this one. http://www.microvitec.co.uk/low-scan-monitors.html Last edited by Xyzzy; 26 August 2022 at 17:41. |

Checking around I saw these two listed as supporting.
BenQ G2420 BenQ G2420HD I've had a G2420HDB for quite a long time and I've never gotten the idea to test it. Don't have a RGB to VGA adapter anyway so can't atm. I wonder if it might work, it lists the same 20 - 83 kHz support as the other two? |

Can't see this one in the list, or some of the other lists. Dell P2222H using 23pin to VGA adapter (not buffered) working well on my A1200.

To keep a long story short, here's the sad news that Microvitec apparently went out of business last year. |

I've tried:
Multiscan productivity: dblesca, lasced, MS Pal: hi res, hi res laced, low res, low res laced, super high + laced and they all work. Laced will make your eyes bleed though. Any specific modes I should try. The monitor has 4:3, 19:9 & 5:4 overrides. |

Just generally curious since it's a monitor I can actually buy without getting robbed. The laced issue doesn't sound promising though. |

I added the two reported monitors to the list (http://15khz.wikidot.com/)
- Dell P2222H - ViewSonic VX2276-SMHD just register and click on "edit", thanks for your tests |
