Have you tried sending an email to
support@mntre.com ? I sent one the other day and at least got an acknowledgment (from a staff member). |

Thanks -- I sent email to ask if a new release could be done. 1.13 distribution includes 4.19 zz9000ax.audio but there is a fix in the 4.20 version that is in the repository but not released:
"Fixed crash in the situation when interrupts are already coming in but playback was not started yet by ahi.device." https://source.mnt.re/amiga/zz9000-d...ref_type=heads Separately, I have reported an issue ~2 years ago on when using DISPLAYCHAIN=NO related to SetGC() and SetSwitch() functions. https://community.mnt.re/t/zz9000-p9...aychain-no/880 Attaching code snipets below in case somebody has knowledge how to fix: https://source.mnt.re/amiga/zz9000-d...ref_type=heads void SetGC(__REGA0(struct BoardInfo *b), __REGA1(struct ModeInfo *mode_info), __REGD0(BOOL border)) { |

In terms of the zz9000ax volume issue, I was able to get in touch with Thomas W. and this is what he said:
"MHI and AHI are really completely independent of each other. They are two different ways of sending audio data to different hardware. Regarding the ZZ9000 this leads to a conflict because it's the same hardware for both. An AHI driver normally doesn't change the master volume because it only sets its mixing volume. The ZZ9000 MHI driver, however, directly sets the master volume because that's all it can do. This could only be resolved by changing the ZZ9000's firmware to provide two separate data channels for AHI and MHI. Currently there's only one, so the two systems' access to the hardware is mutually exclusive." Also, something separate and not related to the ZZ9000/ZZ9000AX but thought I would mention this in case anybody else may encounter it in the future since they could be using AmigaAmp with the ZZ9000AX like I am--> AmigaAmp is using popupmenu.library and there is possible crash issue if the library gets expunged (like "avail flush"). The popupmenu.library fix is here: https://www.a1k.org/forum/index.php?threads/50876/ |
