A4k mouse opening.

Want to try and retrobright my old A4000 mouse, at least I think it's the one that came with it.

There's no screw so it's just snapped together, don't know where the hooks are located though so wondering if someone knows where I should focus my attention. Don't want to ruin it since it's working perfectly, just a bit yellow.

I don't recall dismantling my A1200 mouse (which I think is the same model), but I'd put money on there being screws underneath the two small glide pads.

Possibly under the bottom pad too, though that's less of a guarantee.

Use something with a sharp edge to lever up those pads and take a look.

That seemed a bit unlikely so I made another google search and added "repair" to the string and actually found a video.

The screws are under the sticker. I really tried to feel if there were holes there but couldn't. Strange. Thanks anyway, you got me thinking in another direction!
