Eswat, U.S.Gold Does it again, what a class arcade conversion!!!

Yep once again the U.S.Gold company label has lured It's ugly head and made their way into another edition of "Shit Game Time" with their Amiga version of Eswat - Cyber Police.

Blessed with the most unvibrant, flat, dull looking colours I've ever seen for a full priced Amiga arcade conversion, that combined with no in-game music whatsoever and terrible sound samples along with Uncle Art once again gracing us with his sounds, packaged together with absolutely no fun factor at all whilst playing it, this surly end up resulting in a crapfest for Amiga standards of 1990,...and it did!

This was a paid request by youtuber "Towerbridge" who like the arcade version and felt like shitting the bathroom out after playing this.

The game does make me think.

In what other game have I heard that exact pistol sound?

Because other than that, I'd rather just forget having seen the Amiga version.

The game looked in advertisements, and I wanted to play it/buy it on the Amstrad CPC but I had a chance to play the arcade around the time if advertisements in magazines for the micros.

My experience of the arcade was that it was absolutely awful, played it 2 times, first I couldn't believe how awful it was snd second time to make sure.

Will give Sega credit though for overhyping the mega drive version!!!

The City on Siege reinterpretation for the Genesis/Megadrive is THE definitive ESWAT game for me: excellent graphic and choice of colors, good gameplay and lot of variations!

(and as a perk, the term ESWAT was first used by Shirow in Appleseed, meaning ENHANCED Special Weapons And Tactics)
