"New drive" time perhaps?
If it's slaughtered itself down to 4GB from 40, I wouldn't trust it at all but a low level format might rectify it. Free tools are on line. It while take some time to perform the operation in full. For me & the cost of buying another off eBay is better than wasting hours & hours trying to fix something that possibly & probably isn't fix-able. But I do concur.... bollocks indeed! |
