Come on, let's talk about AGA.

I really don't like it.
So stupid way to assign colors to the palette. Especially in copper lists.

I know you're preaching falsehood to get the truth .
No, that was another AGA.
Was asking myself if it was really cancelled as I have heard or if it was only put on hold as I was surprised to see that the site is still reachable.
But decided it was not worth the question and due to late time missed my click.

So true, so true... If i can propose something then thread title should be changed to: "Was anyone else disappointed with the AGA?"

Given how this "non"-thread is already going, feel yourselves free to express your thoughts to develop the potential you are mentioning . I am curious...

I thought it'd be wise to let AI weigh in on this important topic.

Query: which one can run Doom better: an AGA cooker or AGA equipped Amiga?

Perplexity says:
Quote:
An AGA-equipped Amiga can run Doom better than an AGA cooker. The AGA-equipped Amiga has the necessary hardware to handle the game's graphics and sound requirements, whereas an AGA cooker is a software-based solution that emulates the AGA graphics capabilities but does not have the same level of hardware support[1][2][3].

If this is set to be true, it is really sad, IMO one can attribute it to John Carmack's ill will that it didn't happened. I hope some clever programmer can show him that 5 hobs are more than enough to run Doom!

Small OT :

^ As electrical goods seem to be all the rage at the moment, I think you are aware that the game in question runs on a whole range of different hardware.

Fridge: (even if made indirectly)

And others various devices :

But let's return to AGA discussion.
