CF adapter cable position?

New to CF and got myself a 44 pin CF adapter to use with my TF536.

I guess the triangle in the corner of the adapter indicates pin 1 so I should have connected the cable correctly, right?

The card has rails on its sides. There is only one way it fits in.

Yeah, I noticed that when I tried. Edited my post to reflect that. Just want to know if I put the cable correctly.

Partition the CF Card so the Boot Partition is smaller than 1GB. I usually pep mine on my Windows Machine withe A USB to CF/SD adapter in WinUAE to do the initial OS setup, its faster.
Just don't let Windows Set the CF Card.

Scrapping this CF adapter. It's not working at all. Gonna get an SD>IDE instead.

Have you tried a buffered adapter on the 44pin header?

No, not gonna buy a new CF adapter. Ordered an SD one instead that's been reported to work perfectly.
