FS-UAE for Linux won't start ?

Hello everyone !

I have a problem with FS-UAE 3.1.66 & 3.1.68 for the Launcher on Linux. After decompressing the two archives I open the Launcher I configure an A500 & when I press the start button nothing happens ???

That said, on linux I prefer amiberry as it has a more up-to-date winuae core (winuae v5.x versus fs-uae which is based on winuae v3.x), and is actively maintained. See.. https://github.com/BlitterStudio/ami...preview-v6.3.2

Hello yes I made the wrong link... but I would really like to use FS-UAE on Linux why doesn't it work ?

the flatpak version works, the "normal" version fails due to issues with a newer qt5.

I tried both versions, neither worked... I also tried the version to download from the official site, the launcher starts but as soon as I press the "start" button, nothing happens ?!

the flatpak should work, its a self contained setup with all the right dependencies that it needs, it doesnt use whatever is default in your system, have you tried launching it via terminal to see any error messages?

see what this does.

flatpak run --branch=stable --arch=x86_64 --command=fs-uae-launcher --file-forwarding net.fsuae.FS-UAE

Check output or redirect to a .txt file to check over later.

EDIT: make sure the non-flatpak version is removed otherwise the flatpak version can pickups bits of the normal one and try to use them, below is a snip of my output that shows it does look for bits of the normal version, just remove all traces of the non-flatpak version while testing.

Hello I reinstalled the Flathub version via the Mint 21.2 softwares manager apparently it works but everything is in English...

Is there a way to have it in French ? Greetings

Apparently, according to fs-uae.net, you can just run the Launcher with the --arcade option

fs-uae-launcher --arcade

Never used, nor tried with the flatpack version, myself though.
