TekWar is a pretty bad game, and the Witchaven games are not that great either, so I think I'll pass

I got to level 3 before it started to become more appealing to cut my wrists. I have it in my brain that I ended up using Dosbox instead of using BuildGDX for some reason. Maybe to get the glorious William Shatner cutscenes working.
Duke Nukem Forever wasn't so bad really. At least it doesn't have the Matrix level of William Shatner's TekWar!!! |

Given performance of Wolf4Amiga, it would be great to have OCS/ECS version as well, so A500(+)/A600/A3000/CDTV users could benefit. too. I tested NovaCoder's AmiWolf just recently on ACA620, but it's too slow to play. Of course ACA620 is not a speed monster, but I guess Wolf4Amiga would be way quicker (knowing the difference based on A1200). Nice to have dreams, of course I know how busy BSzili is and appreciate everything he did so far :-)

Unfortunately I don't have a suitable C2P routine that checks all the boxes: 2x1, 6bpl, ECS optimized, modulo & non-contiguous bitmap support, etc.

Not sure if they would be of any use and meet all needed criteria, but those C2P routines included in Gloom do support 2x1 for both AGA/ECS:

I checked it, but that one requires contiguous bitmaps.

It's a roll of the dice if you leave everything to the OS, I learned this the hard way. I know you can provide a custom bitmap, but I consider this port finished and I don't plan doing any significant reworks. If a drop in solution surfaces I can plop in with minimal changes that's a different story.

Been playing this to death this week on my A1200. Looking forward to trying Spear of Destiny also which I have never played before. I don't seem to get a screen size prompt when I load Wolfenstein, it just loads in PAL I think.

These ports only supports the original 320x200 resolution as this allowed me to take a lot of shortcuts.

Hmm, SnoopDOS could help you to see what is missing.
http://aminet.net/package/util/moni/SnoopDos Also, make sure you have the full version of Wolfenstein3D, the Shareware game wont work. Hope that helps you. |

Just installed Spear. I gather I must have a separate directories containing each of the missions is that correct? Because if I put each set of SOD files in the same directory they would obviously overwrite each other.

There's no way to have multiple SOD episodes in a single drawer. If in doubt, you can copy over the DOS directory structure, and put the Amiga executable next to Spear.exe.
