Non GIU Amiga email client

I suspect the answer to this is going to be no but is there a terminal based email client for Amiga 68k that supports the latest amiSSL? Something like the old unix Pine client or just the mail commandline utility

I've found YAM and SimpleMail quite unsatisfying.

There's AmiPOP. It just downloads all available mails from the POP server into a large text file which you can then examine with any program which can read such text files.

But it is very old, it does not support encryption at all.

Yeah, I figured there wasn't much out there.

It is almost annoying enough to make me want to sit down and write my own.
