Why does it take so long for scans to be added to HOL?

look at the R. They are still filled with the old color. If you also have to clean this up, it takes an eternity because you have to do it manually.

German:
Schaut euch als Beispiel die "R" an oder andere buchstaben die geschlossen sind. (O, D, B etc.). Die sind noch befüllt mit der alten Farbe. Wenn man dies auch noch bereinigen will, würde dies noch länger dauern, aber machbar.....

Pretty good result I've cleaned up those inside spots and cranked up the contrast (only takes about a minute with my method):

Depending on how long it takes you it might be an idea for you to get the scans to that point and I'll take it from there

In the Archive is the Original Affinity Photo (*.afphoto) file. I have replace the "Accolade The best in Entertainment Software" with the same Graphic version from the Internet......was easier and faster....

I used Affinity Foto and Irfanview for this

Crop the images (Irfanview)
Bring all images to the same size (IrfanView)
Save all images in black and white (Affinity Foto)
Edit all images (remove stains, remove background,...) and save the Image. (Affinity Foto)
I save everything in png without compression

Yep, it's always the small details that take up the most time
