Took some time to play the conversion and it seems solid.

no it's not intentional. What differences? If it's only attract mode, I'm not going to investigate anyway

Basically the arcade starts the boss level with all the birds and yours has only two. When the 2nd bird dies, the non-disappearing explosion bug is revealed. The arcade doesn't show that bug manifestation as the player never clears all the birds.
