IDE Solutions for A2000
Hello. I'm trying to figure out the cheapest IDE solution I can for my Amiga 2000.
What are some ways to do this? The only way I've seen so far is the buddha card, but that costs over 100 euro (I don't know how much AUD, but it would certainly be a lot), which is far out of my price range. Is there any A2000 IDE adapter available for under $40? I only need a single IDE port, I want to connect a CD drive. |

It's actually quite convienient, especially since the parts are from Mouser, as I'm already going to place an order soon to manufacture some boards from PCBWay and buy some parts from Mouser. I can tack this on to those to save shipping costs. Do you know roughly how much the parts cost? |

Component cost minus PCB if you buy everything (except some of the pin headers) from Mouser is currently $39.78 AUD
Here's a mouser cart 5 PCBs from JLCPCB right now would be $35 with ENIG but if you really wanted to cut costs you could go for lead-free HASL instead with a price of $11.99 for 5 but I really recommend against HASL for boards like this. Sorry I don't have any PCBs left or I'd send you one |
