Vague memory of a fantasy platformer
I remember going to someone's house and sitting at their computer and they loaded up a game. It'd have to be Apple or c64, as no-one I know had anything else.
If I recall it correctly you're running along as a small sprite, you have a bow perhaps and can fire arrows. There are perhaps skeleton enemies, and maybe a ladder down a level. The background is likely black. Very vague, but as these things do, has tormented me for years. I've even tried going to game indexing sites and scrolling through galleries of screenshots. |

Black Magic on the Apple II might be the closest match I have found. I do wonder if my memory is realistic looking at it. The spells, the eye balls and so on seem familiar. Although I always thought the arrows could be fired up into the air, although that seems like a problematic aiming technique compared to forward.
